He attempts to place a wood block on the ground. It works. He puts some more next to it. Then he goes a little ways away and places another one, and keeps placing blocks until he meets up with the original wood block, which fits together perfectly with the new line.

"Okay, I think that works," he says. "Lucky it's so flat here or it might not work as well. And I'm not sure I really want to build a house here right now, but it's nice to know it's possible."
