The same isn't true about the wind.
Witches aren't troubled by the cold, but the same isn't true about the wind.
Temperance wasn't afraid of falling from her brand new cloudpine branch, but she might drop her books and that was nearly as bad. She decided to land until the weather quieted down.
Instead of quieting it down, the weather got worse, snow started falling and it was hard to navigate even with Faramund covering her with his wings.
Temperance didn't hear anything, just saw a glimpse of the thing, just enough for her brain to register the combination of snake and mirror and...
...then she found herself under warm sunlight, feeling a gentle breeze over her skin. Blinking away the sudden light and the melting snow in her eyes, she found herself surrounded by a green woodland that was too warm to be anywhere near she remembered being.
In short, Temperance and her daemon were very confused.

Temperance thinks about it.
'The spell creation might take anywhere between two weeks and five weeks, I think, there is some more work before I can give you something more exact and actually casting the spell might take a bit more because I might incorporate the moon phase to the spell.'

'Also I think Hank might want to take readings and other Hank stuff.'

Temperance had enough flying and turns around to return. She will start her new healing spell project.

To Donna she will give a basic introduction to some runes and a simple spell to complete. She raises a simple mental ward to test it against Sally-Anne and Sophie. Otherwise, Temperance flies a lot and talks with Sophie when they are both in the same room, the absence of daemons makes socialization weird and makes her feel distant from others.

If Temperance cares to test her mental ward against Edie or the Professor, it may become apparent that they can get past it with some work, but it's a nontrivial defense even so.
Edie offers to run a daemon simulation--creating an illusory animal and assigning it a portion of her social tasks--in order to make Temperance feel more at ease.

The illusory created animal... helps, it isn't perfect, but Faramund is appreciative.
It takes three weeks and five days, but around noon Temperance pings Edie.
'I have a working healing ritual.'
