'(Platonic ideation of greetings) (Identity:(word:Emily/sensation of magnetic fields/scent of iron warm against skin/dancing/flying/metal twisting and shaping). (wordless welcoming feeling) (sense of identity, complex and self-contained) (what is important to Edie is likewise important to him) (and people, generally, for themselves) (concern for Emily on both those levels; gladness that she seems to be doing all right) (hugs!)
Well, this is way more weird than she's used to dealing with all in one day! It would have been more convenient if she had been less eager about the adorable bee-shooting gun and Edie had had her fizzy minty accident tomorrow instead, but nothing that's gone down is, you know, bad. Also: Hugs. Yes.
'I hadn't really thought of that,' what with everything else, 'but...' and an impression of a very confused mana counter, that wasn't really reporting anything more specific than "A lot. See that number? It's probably higher than that number. What even are numbers anymore?" 'I...think the answer to how much mana I have might for practical purposes be 'enough'.'
'Well, that's one question answered.' (vague, blurry summary of the conversation with Saravasse) '...I'm guessing you haven't tried the candy yet,' she says to the demon, 'but when you do, let me know whether the same thing happens to you?'
