The Party Had Just Begun

They spend the next couple of days just in Terraria, not exploring new worlds. Sivath builds the new house, with Emily's periodic assistance. Her sister and her sister's new Bonded...do not lack for ways to pass the time. At some point, Tialle's Demon gets around to eating a mana candy, and reports the same confused, undefined but large amount of mana. At some point after that, Emily gets around to warping over to Saravasse to report the information, and in the course of so doing meets some other dragons.

Eventually, the house is finished. It's glorious. Glass and marble and that peculiar, lovely Terrarian granite.

"All of this is probably a lot weirder to you than to me."

"Yes."

"If it bothers you when I complain about it you can let me know and I'll stop."

"Anyway just talking to her out loud shouldn't have any of the obvious problem."

"Yes."

"Okay, I think the library was this way..."

"Hey," she says when they've found Edie. "So because of the awkward we decided to wander around for a while and ended up finding a cabin full of murder cultists and they are kind of dead now."

"There were only two of them," says Sivath. "Is it a cabin full of murder cultists if there are only two? I suppose it wasn't a very large cabin."

"The pretty brunette had some kind of interestingly magical biology that resulted in a session of nerding that narrowly avoided being publicly half-naked on her part as well as his. What kind of murder cultists?"

"They wanted me to help them find people who wouldn't be missed to kill for magical purposes. I didn't want to do that," says Sivath.

"...Why...on earth would they think you would be interested in helping them do that."

"I think it's because of how I look. But he didn't say exactly what he was thinking."
