Sea monsters aren't typically in this area, but sometimes things can go wrong and a sea beast will rise up from the depths to try and drag the ship down with them to munch on the tasty humans inside. Sometimes when this happens, the ship gets away, if the people on it are clever or have the right enchanted items or have a particular talent for magic. More often than not, though - they don't.

So even when a sea monster attack is very, very unlikely, if Lirlaveth notices a ship anywhere nearby, she'll put what she's doing on hold and quietly follow the ship to make sure it's not going to be attacked by a murderous monster that wants to eat humans. Or, if it is, to help prevent the humans from becoming food.

She's spotted one such ship, and so even though it means putting her study into enchantment on hold, she goes to follow it to make sure it'll be all right. Probably just paranoia (sea beast attacks aren't that common), but it might turn out to be justified one day.

Hello, she signs, followed by, Thank you!

Clothes! What kind of clothes are they, are they obvious to use? She has never worn trousers before.

"Hi," says/signs the third sister. "Do you need help figuring out the clothes?"

Slightly helpless nod.

Also the legs, she'd say if she could talk, but she can't, so she doesn't.

"Sure, okay."

The third sister attempts to explain the secrets of underpants.

Excellent, that's very helpful.

Soon enough she has on underpants and is gallantly struggling with trousers. Legs are hard to use when she's never had them before, and putting on trousers while sitting down is not exactly easy. Ugh. This is annoying.

She manages, but it's annoying.

"Congrats," says the third sister, signing excellent/success. "So, I'm Amain, and that's Esri, and I guess Idalta's probably introduced herself by now."

Nod! Smile. Thank you, she signs.

.... She ended up erasing her name for new drawings. She looks at Idalta in a 'Please tell them my name' kind of way.

"And this is Lirlaveth. She's a siren."

"I noticed that."

... Headtilt? She doesn't look doubtful, just curious.

"I saw you in the mirror when you were rescuing Idalta."

Oh. Yes, that makes sense. Nod.

"Thank you," she adds.

Lirlaveth smiles. She doesn't know the sign for You're welcome yet, but - you know. Facial expressions.

"So should we all go back to the beach house now? Lirlaveth, does that sound good to you? Seeing as you saved my life, you can stay at our house and eat our food and so forth, that seems only fair."

Nod. She's not really sure where else she could go, going home would be quite dangerous. Borderline suicidal.

"Great. Off we go. ...After you figure out walking, I guess."

She does not have the appropriate vocabulary for a proper reply. She settles for a mildly sarcastic look.

Right, walking. Okay, take this logically. Assumingly the legs can actually support the rest of her. (She has a brief macabre visual of nothing else being able to support standing upright and her spine snapping, how absolutely wonderful) So if she ignores the horrible horrible thoughts and focuses on step by step what to do to get upright -

She will manage to get herself to a kneeling position, and then attempt to stand, and tip herself forward and catch herself on the sand with her arms before she faceplants. Ugh.

Perhaps she'll need help with this.

"Hey, that's a start," says Idalta. "Here, how about I give you a hand?"

Lirlaveth nods, grateful. If highly annoyed that she can't do obvious basic things, curse why.

And now Lirlaveth can have some help standing up!

Esri lends a hand too.

With their help she makes it to her feet. She's highly wobbly and seems to find being this high up kind of disconcerting.

"Amain," says Esri.

"Yeah, I got it."

And with the other two sisters supporting Lirlaveth, it falls to this one to try to actually teach her how to feet.
