Catatonic people, just what I always wanted

So that was definitely a thing that happened. She adds 'find a way to keep people from teleporting to Facet' on her mental list of things to figure out. Because that could have ended much, much worse.

Honestly, it didn't really end well, as is. Or technically end. She's still standing in this room filled with catatonic tortured people, a brainwashed arcanist lackey, and an invisible kobold whose motivations are a little inscrutable. The government has likely gathered all of its big guns and have pointed them all right here, and will be here to do murderous things momentarily. And she still hasn't died. This is, surprisingly, inconvenient.

"If you get caught, they really rather thoroughly want to use you for their charming immortality ritual," Aisilian had written. "Don't get caught."

Master of reassurance and understatement, that one. 'Don't get caught.' Yeah, sure, no problem, it's just she's the most wanted criminal on the planet and now standing here holding the bag after Jinx went and got them all on high alert.

She could just leave. Go back to Nexus, take Eva up on her offer, go sun diving. Come back later, as a demon, take over the government.

... Hm.

No.

Upon reflection, this is an opportunity. Here she is, in the heart of her government's hellhole, and no one around to stop her from doing whatever she likes. For example, broadcasting to the entire world exactly what atrocities this government is committing.

She steals the communication crystals Kuvair's got on him. Severing their connection is required to do anything with them, so she does that too. A small flash of light each, and then she sets them aside for reconnection into the various networks later. She doesn't have her communication crystal hacking device on her, unfortunately, but she's arguably a master of plant craft. Making a new one is time consuming, but not impossible.

Her poisonous dart plants get sacrificed for the good of her empire. What's left of them is left in a pockmark in the floor to grow, fed by the nutrition tubes from the one pod that was broken into. It doesn't quite have the nutrition meant for a plant, but it's better than anything else present by a wide margin. She prods it a bit with plant craft to grow in the right direction she needs, and tells it speed, speed, speed, she doesn't need it to last, she needs it now. Obligingly, it grows, and while it's doing that she starts attaching communication crystals to networks. It's fiddly and hard to do long distance, but... Well, what has she been doing for the past several hundred years? This sort of fiddly detail work with crystal networks.

She leaves the ordinary crystal networks alone. The majority of the populace isn't helpful to her purposes, and she doesn't want to cause mass upheaval anyway. Messy, painful - she's spent years avoiding that. She's not going to bumble into that problem now, when she's in the proverbial home stretch. Instead, she connects to the government's networks. The ones for the managers, in charge, but not in charge. The ones who would be the problems for a governmental coup. Information will trickle down, of course, but not quite so violently. For once, the absurdly thorough censoring will be a boon. It'll keep things from going to hell.

She sends a few Planar Messages to relevant people, while she works. Warnings, mostly. It is about to be a very, very good time to start a government coup.

She hasn't forgotten her kobold companion, but honestly, she really doesn't have time or the brain power to deal with her right now. She can just. Stay invisible. Over there. While Inavet sets this up.

Invisible kobold companion stays invisible, over there, while Inavet sets this up.

She combines the crystals (newly networked) with the newly grown device, and then she starts tying to figure out exactly how to approach this.

While she's doing that...

Someone wakes up.

The someone is Kuvair.

(Also, they are starting to run out of time...)
