"Makes sense. Everything is extremely square. Oh, hey, you know what I haven't explained to you about electronics yet? Video games."

"Hmm?"

"Okay, so, basically when you have enough of the right technology you can make moving pictures. And then you can make pictures that move around the way you tell them to, instead of in a pre-set way. And video games are moving picture games, some of which strongly resemble the way Terraria works."

"...I think I might need more of an explanation than that."

[iamnotpolaris]

"Yeah, okay. Um." She considers this. "Okay, I think this is going to end up waiting until we get to a universe where this can be demonstrated, because I don't have any on me, and the closest thing my brain has for a helpful suggestion for how to better explain it is 'start at Pong,' that being one of the earliest examples, and I don't actually know enough about the history of video games for that to be useful."

"Okay."

"...I should be actually writing this list down before I forget something. Let's see, architecture books, cathedral viewing, harp lessons, video games...am I missing anything?"

"If you are, I'm forgetting it too."

[iamnotpolaris]

"Unfortunately all the writing supplies are back in the bag. Oh well, this particular round of hugging probably hasn't turned into anything else with that other dragon right there."

"Unless she suspected it was going to turn into something else and left."

[iamnotpolaris]

"True. And, unfortunately, since I'm not the telepath, I can't just ping Saravasse and ask where she is."

"And I guess you don't want to interrupt your sister to ask what she's doing, in case of the answer being something you don't want to interrupt."

"Exactly."

[not_only]

"Hmm. I don't think I see a clever solution to this."

[iamnotpolaris]

"I think the clever solution is that she probably would have the presence of mind to let me know if I needed to keep out considering that the last time I saw her things were not actually headed in that direction and I should suck it up and check. And then screech at her later if I end up regretting it."

"Okay."

"It's safe, and I might as well grab the whole bag while I'm there because I'm likelier to need anything else from it than the girl in the cuddlepile."

"Yes."

[iamnotpolaris]

"Off I go, then."

Luckily this world is a planet and she does not have to trudge there. Yay, flight.

Saravasse is still amused and endeared by the ongoing cuddlepile. But when Emily shows up, she stretches her wings and says, "I think I'll go hunting. Any surprises I should know about?"

[endragoned]

"Anything large enough to make a good meal will not poison you," says the cuddle demon.

[pythbox]

"Good to know."

And she takes off.

"Hi, I'm just here to fetch this bag," she says, picking it up. "Leaving again now. Bye."

"Hello and goodbye," says the cuddle demon.

Polite nod. Embarrassed fleeing.
