The lockpicks slide against each other with a gentle metal-on-metal sheeee, then click solidly into place.

Sophia smiles beneath her mask. "Got it."

"Anyway. Do any of you people have names, by any chance?"

"Slab."

[four_is_death]

"Rose."

"Eyes."

[four_is_death]

"Sophia. Sophie or Soph if you want."

[four_is_death]

"No."

[last_one_out]

"This is Mark, I'm Aaron and that's Sable. Nice to meet you all."

"It's good to meet you as well. I wish we could talk more easily, but..." He shrugs.

Aaron also shrugs.

Slab considers the rest of the room.

"Alright, short-term plans. We need more clothes, since we were short on them in the first place and now these weird flowers have torn up our best stuff, and now we have more people who need clothes. We also need more bedding, more food... Basically everything to keep an additional four people more or less comfortable. At least there's enough space around here that we can fit everyone in, if you'd shown up a few months ago this would've been really awkward. Rose, do you think you can salvage any of our good clothing?"

Rose eyes the remnants of Sophia's coat. "I can try, but it doesn't look promising."

[four_is_death]

"See what you can do anyway while I'm out: I'm going to go fence some of our emergency stash."

Slab sits up, sways, then thinks better of it and lies back down.

"... Scratch that, I'm going to go fence things once I've had a long nap and this Silencer gas has worn off."

Aaron goes back to facilitating conversation between the other two foreigners.

Rose steps over to Slab and stares at him intently. When she considered how to help Aaron earlier, there was a sense of-

This sense knows all about the effects of Silencer gas on Slab. And it knows that Rose should push on the mental representation there and there to reduce those effects.

She stares at Slab some more, and increases her mental pressure on the relevant locations.

"Uh... Is there a reason why you're looking at me like that?"

[four_is_death]

"Sh." She is trying to concentrate.

Increased pressure increases progress.

Slab manages to scootch a decent distance away from creepy-staring-Rose, then realizes that he just sat up and scootched away from Rose.

"... The flowers can do healing magic on other people?"

Rose nods and keeps concentrating.
